Strollers on Quai de Montebello –

Strollers on the left bank of the Seine, with figures reflecting on a large puddle with dead leaves scattered on it, while Paris is wearing its autumn costume. The picture has been taken very close to Notre-Dame, which is just on the other side of the Seine, and  the “Pont au Double” bridge linking  the “Quai de Montebello” to the “Cité” Island.

This photo is stamped with the date of 26 oct 1952 on the back, date of a press publication, but the picture and the print are probably older (Oct 18 42 is also stamped on the back).
