Rare booklet for the Paris 1925 Art Deco Exhibition. This nice in-4 folio illustrated program present this major event through an introduction translated in several languages and more than 50 photos.

Held in Paris from april to october 1925, the International Exhibition of Modern Industrial and Decorative Arts was not dedicated to be a real fine arts exhibition but its purpose was to provide a complete picture of what the modern industries were able to offer, for all the countries and with an artistic dimension. So this program contains a preface putting the purpose of the event, and more than fifty photographs featuring : the Honor gateway, the Concorde gateway, the General Commission pavilion, the Department Stores pavilions, the Toys Village, the Orsay Gateway, the Nancy pavilion, the tunisian souk, the Diamond Industry Union pavilions, the Fontanis perfumes pavilion, etc…

The preface is translated in french, english, dutch, spanish and italian. Photos by G.-H. Manuel Frères, 47 rues Dumont-D’Urville in Paris and by l’Imprimerie de Vaugirard.
