The Paris Métropolitain railway – 1931

This book has been commissioned by the historical metro company,  the “Compagnie du chemin de fer Métropolitain de Paris” (CMP), in 1931. It describes the Paris metro history, examines the current states of the system and gives us a glimpse of its future developments. Published later than the “Nort-South” lignes takeover by the CMP, that became lignes 12 & 13. Richly illustrated book : black & white heliogravure photographs, color maps and graphs, drawings. Beautiful modernist compositions at the beginning and the end of the publication, signed by Debadier.

Published by A.B.C. workshop. Aluminium cardboard cover and polychromes decors.
